Family connections for James (May) are: Some amendments added Sep 2025. MAY James (May) was born about 1771. He married Grace (???) in Surrey. He was tried at Surrey Assizes, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 5 1804 after a voyage of 6months on COROMANDEL. He died on 9 12 1819 age48 & was buried at St Johns CofE Parramatta. [Some details taken from this Website] Grace (???) was born about 1779. She arrived in NSW with her child following her husband on 12 6 1804 afer a voyage of 5months on EXPERIMENT. She died on 17 9 1817 age38 & was buried at St Matthews CofE Windsor. James (May) & Grace (???) produced 3children: 1.Thomas (May) was born in 1802 probably in Surrey. He arrived in NSW with with his mother on 12 6 1804 afer a voyage of 5months on EXPERIMENT. He was a wheelwright when he married Rebecca (Mealmaker) on 26 5 1823 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. He was still a wheelwright in 1826. ..Rebecca (Mealmaker) was born in 1806.
