William McBride was 41 years old when transported for ‘Robbery in a dwelling house. He could read and write and his native place was County Down and his occupation was a ‘Indoor/Outdoor Servant’. William was single. 21/1/1829: Assigned to Francis Beattie on arrival. Newcastle. 26/7/1834: Convict Death Register - William McBride died in the Sydney Hospital aged 55. NB: Birth date of 1788 was stated on pcug.org.au
