It seems there was a son, Charles born 1832 to Florence and his first wife, Mary Minihan who relocated to the USA, my Mother, Ivy (Harrison) Johnston spoke of a Cousin - "Chuck" in the US. Florence AKA Thomas, remarried following the death of Mary in Ireland. His daughter Catherine, a Free Settler, arrived in VDL and was met by her father.
