Trade; Straw Hat maker aged 26 years old Transported for Culpable homicide Father; Donald Mccormack transported. Came in the England [Contributed by Dianne Jones on 13th March 2021 CRIME: Donald McCormack, labourer, was tried at the High Court on 11 November 1831 "for the crime of murder and assault at Hope's Land, Canongate, Edinburgh". He was found guilty of the assault but the charge of murder was not proven. He was sentenced to transportation for 14 years.
