From the New South Wales Government Gazette, 06-02-1833 Denis McCormick was listed as a runaway convict - Denis M‘Cormick, Mangles, 40, Labourer (sic), Limerick, 5 feet 6, grey eyes, brown hair, sallow comp. from Mr. G. Townsend, Paterson’s River. Another convict, George Rose of the Georgiana, had also absented themselves from Mr. G. Townsend, Paterson’s River.

Colonial conviction: Tried by the Bench, at Walters Plains for Perjury, 18 Oct 1826, sentence, 3 years. Returned to Sydney, 27 Oct 1829.
