Highway Robbery. John McCormick was indicted for assaulting and robbing Mary M‘Keever on the I3th January. Mary M'Keever—Was robbed on the 13th January last, when coming from Dublin to Drogheda on the public car a little above the turnpike at Ji.lianstown, and about three miles and a quarter from Drogheda. About five men stopped the car ; distinguished the face of one of them ; lo«k a stick and hd the car ; two men came to her ; one of them took the basket and the other searched her; they tripped her and knocked her down; the man whom she .distinguished took nothing from her, but the men who were with him did; they took some leather, two glass sugar bowls and some other articles; the police got one of the sugar bowl ...
