The Australia Indentures state Sarah McDonald was 32 years old.  She could read; religion Roman Catholic; status married with one son and a native of County Mayo.  She was a country servant.  Sarah was convicted of stealing a cloak at County King’s on 9 April 1838 and sentenced to 7 years.  She had one prior conviction and served 2 months.  Physical attributes: height 5 feet 3 3/4 inches; complexion dark sallow and freckled; hair dark brown and eyes blue.  Transport number 77.  Prisoner number 76-39.
