Fergusson arrival 26/03/1829 NSW departure 16/11/1828 Dublin 130 216 214 Jn S Groves Chas Cameron Crime: Shoplifting - for stealing money the property of James and Henry Black, grocers, wholesale & retail, 8 Church Lane, Belfast. I Mr. Henry Black stated that he had placed 10s on the desk in the shop for a particular purpose. He saw prisoner come into the shop, seize the money and run off. There was no one else in the shop and witness did not pursue him; but he had him taken soon afterwards - Guilty; 7 years transportation...... Belfast Newsletter 1 August 1828 Remarks: Rope maker 2 years Education: None Age: 17 years old Hair: Brown Eyes: Hazel Complexion: Ruddy Complexion Height: 5 foot 3 ½ inches Certificate of Freedom: 35/0969 1st September, 1835 Arrived to Area’s: Delegate/ Manaroo Bombala/ Goulburn Occupation: Squatter/ Grazier Died: 1863 Stockyard Flat, Bombala at age 52. On the same Ship James McGuigan age 20 arrested same day tried and again on the same day and arrested tried a Mary Ann McGuigan age 17. married Ellen Foley - Family around Goulburn NSW, Batemans Bay, Bathurst NSW etc.
