The Australian Indentures state that James McKeon was 21 years old. He was a native of County Antrim; religion Protestant; status: single and a soldier and servant. He could neither read or write. He was convicted of house robbery on 29 March 1828 at Cork and sentenced to 7 years. He had no prior convictions. Physical attributes - Height 5 feet 5 inches; complexion ruddy and freckled: hair brown and eyes eyes. Transport number 120. He was assigned to Rev. Vincent, Parramatta.
