23 Sep 1825 - Assigned to David Paton at Camden under the name of John MCLOUGHLIN
On Tuesday last, the undermentioned convicts passed through this town, with military escort, on their route from Carrickfergus to Cork, there to embark for New South Wales: Thomas Walker, John Whaley, John Whaley, jun. father and son, John Lane, Daniel McBride, John Hamill, John Corrigan, committed from the Police Office, Belfast; Alexander Hunter, Dennis Hunter, Bernard M'Laughlin, David McGowan, smugglers of tobacco; ??, James Henry, and Thomas Rice. The undermentioned persons were convicted at last Assize for the County of Antrim, and the several sentences affixed to names were passed upon them:— Alex.
