Baptised at St. Nicholas Church. Surname spelt "Mc Cleane", Two of her mis-conducts, recorded in her Convict Conduct Notes, occured each time on the same date - 17th December. Was she celebrating her birthday? Residence at age 12yrs 13 April 1835 - Lancashire, England. Imprisoned for 1 day for Larceny. Felony Offence 28 August 1838 - Liverpool, England Aged 16 years - Caught stealing 38 yards of cotton print from Benjamin Hill & Richard Shaw Indicted Liverpool Quarter Sessions 22 October 1838 - Liverpool, England Indicted at the Liverpool Quarter Sessions Trial 22nd Nov 1838 - Liverpool Boro, Lancaster, England Stealing material from Hill & Shaw - larceny Transportation 6th May 1839 - Liverpool, Lancaster, Lancashire, England Sentenced to 14 years. Transported on the "Hindustan" arriving in Hobart Tasmania on 9th December 1839.
