The Convict Indentures state that Andrew McMahon is 37 years old. He could read; religion Catholic; status married with 3 children and a native of County Clare. His occupation was as a tailor. He was convicted of stealing blankets at County Clare and sentence to life. He had no prior convictions. Physical attributes - Height 5 feet 6 inches; complexion dark ruddy: hair dark brown and eyes Hazel. Transport Number 1. Assigned to Mr Cunningham, Sydney. The Government Gazette Wednesday 27 June 1832 were reassigned to Mr John Kelly, Black Wattle Swamp.
