July 1815 Born Ballyreagh or Ballycraig. Co Derry Ireland 12th July 1833 Enlisted in army. Private John McMullin No. 860 2nd Batt. The Royal Regiment. Was enlisted from Cohaine District. On enslistment, occupation was as a labourer 29th June 1838 Montreal – Lower Canada. General Court Martial 21 years transportation and marked with a D for desertion I have other information about this person after his conditional pardon in 1849.
