Bridget was one of four women convicted in the court at Mayo of Burglary and Robbery, she is the only one transported on Duke of Cornwall, two of the others were transported on Black Friar and the 60 year old woman was sent back to Mayo gaol to serve her ten years. Bridget was five foot one inch tall, black hair, sallow complexion, single, could not read and write and had not previously been in trouble with the court.
