James Mcpherson and Ann Power were my great grandparents. Their daughter Lydia was my grandmother.




James was my great grandfather. He married Ann Power in 1850, and their daughter Lydia was my grand mother. Lydia's son John ( Jack) was my Dad. James is buried at Branxholme, Ann at Dunkeld, Lydia and my Dad at Stawell. Lydia's sister, Susan married into the Delley family of Hall's Gap. I have a pic of her. I have lots of info..yet to be collated.




james mcpherson was my great great grandfather,james spent a total of 13 years as a convict in vdl free cert 1843,in 1850 he married ann power at arrandoovong station ,portland bay,victoria,james deserted ann leaving her with 5 children ann died in hamilton, vic in 1872, james died by falling down a well, the stage coach driver thought it strange that a horse and dog had been at the well for 3 days , thats how they found james he was 83 years
