WILFUL FIRE-RAISING JOHN McROBERT, bookseller, was placed at the bar. The prisoner, who was very pale and seemed to feel deeply the position in which he was placed, pled guilty to an indictment charging him with setting fire to his shop and goods, upon which he had previously effected insurances against fire.....After considering all the circumstances of the case they could not award less than the term proposed; he (Lord Colonsay)then passed sentence of ten years' transportation.
