Felix M’Teague and Sarah M'Teague, indicted for stealing linen cloth, the property of Mr. Geo. Wilson. George Wilson, examined Mr. Curry Lives near ; keeps a bleach- Green; cloth stolen from him some time ago; knows Felix M'Teague; had employed him as labourer ; found cloth again, eleven yards in one piece, and six in another; present before Mr. Smith, the Magistrate, when prisoner made no knowledge of having taken the linens out his green. Jas. Hughes—Knows prisoner, Felix M'Teag; saw linen in his house; he said had taken it the night before from Mr. Wilson’s green. Felix M’Teague guilty —To be transported for life. Sarah M'Teague not guilty —Discharged. Belfast Commercial Chronicle, 6 Aug 1817.
