Catherine Ryan pleaded guilty of child stealing. Guilty. Seven year’s transportation, Ellen Meade, who pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny, received the same sentence. Limerick Evening Post, 18 March 1831. Mary Hogan, Ellen Meade, and Mary Callaghan, convicts in the County Limerick Gaol have been ordered to the Penitentiary House at Cork. Limerick Evening Post, 27 May 1831.
