Originally bound for VDL per Lady Kennaway. Sick and left at Cork - then arrived NSW per Mary Anne 1835. Thomas Mendham was listed as 18 years old on arrival. Native Place: Norfolk Thomas was literate, protestant, single, 5'1" tall, dark complexion, dark brown hair, dark hazel eyes, small scar over inner corner of left eyebrow.

1840: TOL Bathurst 7/7/1841: COF 17/4/1854: Married Jane Ahern at Bathurst and had 7 children. Jane Ahern was Elizabeth Jane Miller, her parents were Thomas Miller and Catherine Sutherland. Jane was born at Longbottom NSW 28/10/1816 and died at Hobbys Yard, Carcoar 12/6/1880. Jane was married to James Browne Ahern in Sydney on 26/3/1833, James did'nt die until 1880, however, Jane married Thomas Mendham on 17/4/1854. Jane had 8 children with James and 7 with Thomas. 1869: Thomas died at Hobbys Yard, Carcoar.
