14/8/1875 Stamford Mercury Lincolnshire, England: Stamford, Friday, Aug. 14 Samuel Meredith and William Wright, for a robbery and assault, were severally convicted and received sentence of death. Wm. Byan, Jos. Hateley, Sarah Smith, Samuel Meredith, and Wm. Wright (the two latter on account of their youth), were reprived before the Judge left the town, and the rest left for execution. Samuel Meredith and William Wright arrived on the 'Canada'. Certificate of Emancipation [4/4427; COD18, Reel 601 page 548-49] Cannot find date. 13/1/1805 Sydney Gazette: Secretary's Office, Jan. 13, 1805. ALL those having Claims or Demands on the following persons are required to present the same to me without delay at this Office.
