Sarah MEYERS was convicted at Middlesex, London on 6 Dec 1820 for stealing from the person. Previous offences. Gaol Report: "bad". Life sentence. Transported per the 'Providence' arriving Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) 1821. Assigned to work services in the Colony of VDL. 1823: Neglect of duty and absent. Sent to the Female Factory, Hobart. 5 Feb 1827: Marriage to Thomas ARNOTT (transported per 'Calcutta'. At Hobart. Hobart Town Courier 30/11/1832). Sarah was of the Jewish faith and Thomas had objected to an Inquest but overruled.
