Travelled on the 'Cadet' arriving Van Diemens Land Aug 1844. Gaol Report: well conducted. Widower; Roman Catholic; reads & writes; age 26; 5'8 1/2"; ruddy complexion; dark brown hair; grey eyes. Native Place: Tipperary. Colonial Record: Station Gang: Jerusalem, Tasmania. 12mths. Emerged from Gang 20/10/1845. 02/11/1844 at Jerusalem: Striking fellow prisoner - chgs dismissed. 27/02/1845: at Jerusalem: fighting - 5 days solitary. 25/06/1845: at Cascades, Hobart - disobedience of orders - 3 days solitary. 08/09/1846: at Avoca - disobedience of orders - reprimand. 06/12/1848: at Avoca - idle - 1mth imprisonment with hard labour. Ticket of Leave 16/05/1848.
