Agnes MILLER was convicted at Glasgow on 1 Oct 1846 for passing base coins. Previous offence. 7yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Asia' arriving 21 July 1847. Single woman; aged 23yrs; Presbyterian; housemaid. Native place - Glasgow, Scotland. Brothers: George & William. William was transported approx. 3 years ago. 6mths Probation Period - Anson Hulk. Clear conduct record. 21 May 1850: Ticket of Leave granted. 26 Nov 1850: Application for permission to marry - to Charles FLATT (transported per 'Triton'). 23 Dec 1850: Married Charles FLATT. Hobart district, St. George's Church of England. (ref. 37/1/9 no. 338) 30 March 1852: Conditional Pardon granted.
