Daniel Miller, tried at Dublin City, 18 April 1842, 7 years, age 14, height 5 ft 2½, catholic, neither read nor write, single. Offence: Stealing blankets & other articles from a woman on the Coone. For clothes, 3 months. 6 months similar offence, 12 months for knives. Surgeon’s Report: Middling. Trade, Labourer. Native place, Dublin. Remarks: F, George, M, Ellen, B, Geo, John, S, Ellen. Date on side of record: 27/5/50. Hobart. --------------------------------------------------- HOBART TOWN QUARTER SESSIONS. 1st April, 1850. Daniel Miller, free by servitude, pleaded guilty to a charge of breaking arid entering into, on the 18th of February last, the dwelling house of Eliza Thomas, and stealing therefrom a quantity of jewellery, the property of the said Eliza Thomas.
