Jane (perhaps Cody/Byrne) was born about 1763/72 in Carlow Ireland & became a soda water maker/servant.>>> [Some details taken from this Website] ??? (Molloy) & Jane (Cody) Produced 1child: 1.Constat/Constantine (Molloy) was born about 1805 & became mineral water maker in Kings co. Ireland. He attempted the murder by poison of Edward (Byrne) & was in turn poisoned by the victims wife Jane (Byrne) on 24 7 1820 (but see crime explanation for Jane (Byrne) herein). He was tried at Dublin city Ireland, sentenced to death reprieved to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 11 1821 after a voyage of 5months on JOHN BARRY; he was Catholic; he was sent to Windsor for assignment. He was recorded in 1825 as constable at Windsor Hawkesbury. He was recorded in 1828 as constable Windsor with Jane (Cody). He had his Ticket of Leave when he married with permission Sarah (Horton her first marriage) on 6 12 1830 at St James CofE Pitt Town. He was recorded in 1832 as a constable. ..[Some details taken from this Website] ..Sarah (Horton) was born on 12 2 1813 & baptised on 10 10 1813 at St Matthews CofE Windsor. She is recorded in 1828 with her parents at Pitt Town. She (as Sarah (Hornton)) seems to have had a second relationship with John (Morris) emancipist whom she married on 6 2 1831 at St Johns CofE Parramatta & produced 2children. She attempted the murder by poison of Edward (Byrne) with the help of her son on 24 7 1820 (but see crime explanation for Jane (Byrne) on this Website). She was tried at Dublin city Ireland, sentenced to death reprieved to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 18 12 1821 after a voyage of 5months on JOHN BULL on which she was appointed nurse; she was Catholic sallow complexion dark brown hair dark hazel eyes. She was recorded in 1828 at Windsor with Constantine (Molloy). She was issued her Ticket of Leave on 29 4 1829 described as 5' pale wrinkled complexion dark brown to grey hair dark hazel eyes & again on 1 5 1830 for Hawkesbury. She was recorded in 1828 at Windsor with Constantine (Molloy). She seems to have produced more than 3children in her lifetime. ....Constatine (Molloy) & Sarah (Horton) produced 1child: ....1.Phoebe Susannah (Molloy) was born on 14 5 1830 at Windsor & baptised on 13 4 1832 age23m at St Matthews CofE Windsor. ... when the several persons convicted during the Commission received the various sentences apportioned to their respective crimes, amongst whom were Jane Byrne and Constantine Molloy, the former convicted of the conspiracy to poison, the latter for having administered the poison to Edward Byrne, with intent to kill him — (for particulars see our report of the trial on Saturday last) — received the awful sentence of Death.
