LIMERICK SESSIONS—CONVICTION OF A PRETENDED PRIEST. At the Limerick sessions now going on, John Molony, a pretended priest, was indicted for stealing 18s. 6d., the property of Bryan Lanty, on the 4th Nov., under pretence of introducing him to Father Mathew. The jury at once found him guilty, and the Recorder sentenced him to be transported for 7 years. Prisoner—Thanks be to God, its not an everlasting judgment. Warder and Dublin Weekly Mail, 22 Feb 1840.
