Wife; Mary Moore 1879 - Brickfields Invalid Depot: POL709-1-16 page 111 (31 Mar 1879 to 08 Jul 1879) - Not fit for work. 1882 - POSSIBLE DEATH & BURIAL RECORD Date of death: 05 May 1882 AGED 76 years old, Invalid Last known residence: New Town Charitable Institution, New Town Date of burial: 08 May 1882. Cornelian Bay, Pauper, Section A, Number 369 The old occupation of "nailor" refers to a person who made nails by hand. Nailors were skilled craftsmen who created various types of nails for different uses, such as roofing, carpentry, and more. The job was laborious and often involved making up to 3000 nails in a single day.
