Cardiff and Merthyr Guardian, Glamorgan, Monmouth, and Brecon Gazette Glamorgan, Wales 6 Apr 1833: William Morgan, aged 28, found guilty of stealing a more, the property of Mr. Thomas Prothero, was sentenced to transportation for life. Medical Journal of the Isabella: Folios 3-4: William Morgan, aged 29, Convict; disease or hurt, cholera. Put on sick list, 14 June 1833, at Sheerness. Discharged, 19 June 1833. Folios 17-18: William Morgan, aged 30, Convict; disease or hurt, dyspepsia. Put on sick list, 8 October 1833, at sea. Discharged, 12 October 1833. A man of delicate constitution and consumptive diathesis. William was married, wife, Elizabeth Ann at Brecknockshire, 1 child. 21/2/1834: William Morgan died at the General Hospital, Hobart, aged 29. Buried on the 24/2/1834.
