He was convicted for stealing buttons etc from Mr (Laugher) at Warwick Assizes on 31 3 1798, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 12 1801 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship MINORCA. He was Free by Servitude before 1808. He married Sarah (Wilson age15) on 24 6 1807 at St Johns CofE Parramatta.
