Lancaster Assizes. Wright Morris, for a burglary in the house of Ralph Peters, Esq. at Ince, within Mackersfield. Lancashire Gazette, 23 March 1816. Lancashire Assizes. The Judge passed...sentence of Death upon the prisoners capitally convicted, as follow: … Wright Morrri (28) ... for burglary, … The Judge was pleased to reprieve the whole of those prisoners condemned, with the exception of Michael Henshaw, for maliciously shooting, and John Jones, for forgery.
