Committed to the City gaol, by the Right Worshipful the Mayor of Waterford, William Kizbey and Edward Morrissey, servants, charged upon oath with stealing silver spoons out of the house of Mrs. Sargent, Lady-lane, in whose service said Kizbey lived. This result arose from the highly culpable practice of servants in place admitting other servants into their master’s houses to sleep, without the knowledge of their employers. Waterford Mail, 9 May 1827.
