Tuesday – Second Day. Thomas Neal and Stephen Morrissy were Indicted for stealing wool, the property of Michael Connell, This prosecutor had eighteen sheep stripped of their woolen the night of the 10th instant, Prosecutor discovered his brand on some of the wool. One of the fleeces being exhibited the letters C, (the prosecutor's brand) were quite legible ——Guilty, transportation for seven years. The practice of stripping sheep being frequent of late, his Lordship was determined to make an example in the present case Clonmel Herald, 25 March 1829.
