Johanna Moylan was convicted at Dublin for stealing purse and money, 13 Aug 1850. Twice convicted before. 10yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Blackfriar' 1851. Aged 17yrs; 4'10"; nursegirl; Roman Catholic; single. Native place - Limerick Mother: Johanna Sister: Mary - in this Colony, arrived on 'Waverley'. Assigned to work services in the Colony. Application for permission to marry: 7 Oct 1851 to Francis McKenna (per 'Emily'). Approved. 27 Oct 1851 Married Francis McKenna at Church of St. Joseph Hobart. Francis, aged 22yrs, cook.
