National Records of Scotland Trial papers relating to Alexander Muirhead, John McKillop, Archibald McKillop for the crime of theft by housebreaking and previous conviction. Tried at High Court, Glasgow Dates 31 Dec 1842 Accused Alexander Muirhead, Verdict: Guilty, Sentence: Transportation - 7 years Previous convictions: theft. John McKillop was later transported for Burglary in 1846 per Pestonjee Bomanjee. Arichibald McKillop was also on board the Lord Petre. Alexander Muirhead was 20 year old on arrival in VDL - he was born in Glasgow. Alexander was 5'4ΒΌ" tall, fresch complexion, dark brown har, hazel eyes, reads, single protestant.
