Elizabeth Mulrowney (Mulcolney) was convicted at Clare, Ireland on 27 Feb 1849 for stealing geese. 7yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Australasia' arriving 29 Sept 1849. Aged 21yrs; single woman; Roman Catholic; a laundress. Native place - Co. Clare, Ireland. Brother: Pat (in America) Sisters: Mary, Margaret, Peggy, Ann, Ellen & Catherine. Station in Colony: 'Anson' hulk, then work assignments. Ticket of Leave granted 1 July 1852: Application for permission to marry Peter Doyle. (does not appear to have proceeded). 15 April 1853: Application for permission to marry William PARKER. 16 May 1853: married William PARKER (plasterer) at St. Peter's Parish Church, Hamilton, Tasmania.
