Elizabeth Mulrowney (Mulcolney) was convicted at Clare, Ireland on 27 Feb 1849 for stealing geese. 7yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) per the ‘Australasia’ arriving 29 Sept 1849.
Aged 21yrs; single woman; Roman Catholic; a laundress.
Native place - Co. Clare, Ireland.
Brother: Pat (in America)
Sisters: Mary, Margaret, Peggy, Ann, Ellen & Catherine.
Station in Colony: ‘Anson’ hulk, then work assignments.
