Tried with 4 others but was convicted on the say of his servant. Gaol Report: well conducted Ship Surgeon's Report: Good Native Place: Co. Meath Father: Thomas Mother: Ann Brothers: Thomas & Richard Aged 20yrs; 6'; single; read & write; shoemaker; Roman Catholic; fresh complexion; dk brown hair; grey eyes. Van Diemens Land: Station Gang: Impression Bay 30mths. Released 25/02/1847. Assignments in Hobart and served as a Constable at Westbury. Some misconduct on record. 29/11/1853: Ticket of Leave (meritorious conduct) 14/08/1856: recommended for Conditional Pardon 05/12/1857: Conditional Pardon granted.




Daniel Mulligan was convicted at Meath for firing shots at Patrick O'Connor. 4 others were also tried, but acquitted. Daniel was given a Life sentence. Transported to van Diemens Land on the 'Cadet' 1844.
