Jeremiah Pendergass was named as the ring leader and shot. 44 deaths in total on this voyage. There was then another ship, also named, "Hercules" built 1822 at Whitby, England who made 3 trips to Austraia, in 1825, 1830 & 1832.

Absconded. Molloy John, Hercules (3), 30-1831, 22, Armagh, stable boy, 5 feet 5½, ruddy freckled comp. brown hair, brown eyes, woman on right arm, fox, gate and tally ho ! on left, from No.2 Stockade, since July 31. Second time Of absconding. NSW Govt. Gazette, 24 Sep 1834.
