Mary MULVEY was convicted at Fermanagh, Ireland on 27 Oct 1849 for stealing a watch and money. 7 yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Blackfriar' arriving 29 May 1851. Aged 20yrs; single; country servant; 5'3 1/2"; can read; Protestant. Native Place - Co. Fermanagh, Ireland. Father: James Mother: Ann Sister: Ann - in America Brothers: James, John & George. (note that George was convicted with her of this offence) Work services in the Colony. Ticket of Leave granted 29 Mar 1853. Conditional Pardon approved 10 May 1854. Certificate of Freedom 4 Nov 1856, at Launceston
