Elizabeth MUNDAY was convicted at the Central Criminal Court, London on 21 Sept 1846 for stealing from the person. Gaol report: "convicted before". 7 yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship 'Asia' arriving there 21 July 1847. Married woman. Stated her proper name was Elizabeth WATSON. Aged 21 yrs; housemaid, can wash; 4'11 3/4" height; fresh complexion; dark hair; brown eyes; Roman Catholic; literate. Native place of birth: London (ref. convict record) Mother: Mary (ref. convicted indent record) Brother: James Sisters: Mary & Margaret Colony of VDL: 6 months Probation period Stationed on the 'Anson' Hulk, Derwent River, Hobart.
