Convict Notes

Alexander Monroe is listed as being 18 years old on arrival, born 1822 on ‘Founders & Survivors’ however on ‘Graves of Tasmania’ he is listed as: Died 6/4/1882 and buried on 13/4/1882 aged 82 at New Norfolk – so born 1800. Stated that he arrived per ‘David Clarke’ -- So date of death seems dubious. He was transported for ‘Housebreaking and stealing Print’.
