Committed to the Castle for trial, John Reynolds, Patrick Toole, John Murray, John Curran, and Charles Reynolds, private Soldiers in the 18th regiment of Light Dragoons, quartered at Beverley, charged with having feloniously Itolen and carried away divers linen- drapery goods, the property of Messrs. Thomas Pitts and Robert Richardson, of Beverley, linen-drapers. York Herald 28 March 1801.
