A Jewish glass cutter in London. Married with one child. He spent some time on Norfolk Island in 1847 before being assigned in Hobart from 1849. TOL 1853 and CP 1854. He married and went to Sydney in 1854, also spending time in Hobart, Maitland and Melbourne before he died in Sydney in 1866 leaving four young children.
