26/10/1822 Hobart Town Gazette: At a Bench of Magistrates, held at the Court-house in Hobart Town, on Saturday last, the Deputy Judge Advocate, in the Chair ; - John Myers, convict, was found guilty of feloniously altering a promissory note of Wm. Butcher's, for one shilling, to the sum of 5s., and uttering the same, with intent to defraud F. Barnes, and was sentenced to he transported to Macquarie Harbour for 5 years. 14/4/1824: Macquarie Harbour - Fighting 25 lashes.
