1819, 27 December: Admitted to Kilmainham Gaol, Dublin; charged with being "found concealed in a house with intent to rob it and assault"; tried and found guilty 18 January 1820; sentenced to 7 years' transportation. 1820, 15 April: He was "sent on board the convict ship" for transportation (see Ireland, Prison Registers, 1790-1924; Dublin Kilmainham 1815-1910).
