Suffolk Lent Assizes Of the 42 prisoners tried at these Assizes, which ended on Monday about noon, ten were capitally convicted and received sentence of death, … Henry Neale and James Clarke, for stealing an ewe sheep, the property of Mr. John Paine, of Tuddenham. Before the Judge left the town, he reprieved all the above culprits, except John Took, for the rape, and the three murderers. Bury and Norwich Post, 25 March 1812. -------------------------------------------------- On Monday last 15 male convicts were re- moved from our Gaol to be put on board the hulks at Portsmouth, viz.
