At Winchester Assizes, nine prisoners were capitally convicted, and received sentence of death, ... George Nevill, also for uttering a forged 101. Bank of England note; The Star, 25 July 1809. -------------------------------------------------- George Nevill, one of the capital convicts left for execution at our late Assizes, is respited. And Antonio Janni, another of the capital convicts at the same Assizes, is respited till the 20th of November next. The other four are to suffer their sentence on Saturday next. Hampshire Chronicle, 31 July 1809.
