18/2/1842 Essex Standard Essex, England: ESSEX ADJOURNED SESSION John Neville, 18; Henry Lodge, 17 ; David Stock, 15, labourers, charged with having broken into the dwelling-house of Edward Witham, and stolen two hams, 3 loves of bread and 4 cheeses. Henry Lodge was also on board. No ship found for David Stock. John Neville was listed as 18 years old on arrival - born near Chelmsford, Essex. Prior convictions: once for horse hair - 2 months, once for beer - 4 months. John was 5'3" tall, lilliterate, single, fresh complexion, brown hair, light brown eyes. Mother: Sarah Brother: Charles Sisters; Elizabeth, Ann, Mary. 24/8/1843: John Neville died at HM Colonial Hospital, New Norfolk.
