Convict Notes

Doubts about Date of Birth. He died in 1853 and states he was 40. As he died from dementia, this is highly improbable. Going on court appearances in Lancashire his birth date was probably in the 1790’s. He had an extensive criminal record in England. Also unable to confirm he was born Jewish or converted. He married in Sydney Synagogue in 1841.
