Prisoner discharged from HM Gaol & Houses of Correction, Hobart Town & Launceston during the week of the 20th July & the 24th July 1872. At Launceston, Abraham Newton, per David Clarke, tried at Longford on the 20 Jun 1872 for indecency, served 1 month, native place Woodford, Cheshire, age 60 years, 5 feet 6 3/4 inches high, grey hair.
