Samuel Niblett applied 18 Aug 1826 to marry Martha Potts, 35yrs, convict on Midas in 1821. Application refused as her husband is a potter in Staffordshire and 7 yrs separation had not elapsed. Samuel Niblett then married Mary Murphy, convict, December 1828 at St Luke's Liverpool.
